Senior Operator Proto-lab

Inroduction

Contribute to the innovation and development of new parts and products.
Improve our products by making recommendations on how to improve work processes and actions that lead to these improvements at the product and process level.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Assessing the feasibility of the requested task by evaluating achievable dimensions and the possible consequences for the functionality;
  • Creating and testing proto-parts and prototypes using standard and non-standard operations;
  • Identifying and controlling critical product and process parameters;
  • Identifying and solving problems during the proto production;
  • Testing the prototypes for acoustic functionality using the designated measuring equipment;
  • Responsible for carrying out the visual final inspection;
  • Make recommendations based on practical experience in regards to identified problems, in order to achieve improvements at the product and process level;
  • Setting up the workplace by reserving the right equipment and ensuring the right materials and stock management;
  • Compliance with safety regulations applicable to the machinery and working environment.

Your profile

  • MBO working and thinking level, no specific training required
  • Work experience in a (proto) lab environment or in a production environment for very small (electronic) parts is an advantage
  • Experience and/or affinity with working with a microscope
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Can-do and hands-on mentality
  • Written and oral proficient in English (and Dutch is an advantage)
  • Customer- and service-oriented and independent working
  • Accurate and attention-to-detail
