People & Culture Business Partner (32-40 hours per week)

The role of the People & Culture Business Partner is to advice on the all people and culture related topics to ensure an attractive workplace and high performing organization. Next to that you support the P&C Manager with and perform on daily operational process. We continue to professionalize the P&C department, so your ideas and initiatives are very welcome.

You will be reporting to the People & Culture Manager of Sonion Netherlands, and you will be based in our office in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. About 100 people work in our office in Hoofddorp. The P&C team consists you as of the P&C business partner and the P&C Manager. We have an external Payroll administrator and Event manager that are part of the team as well.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You provide consultation and support to managers on the full people life cycle including recruitment, career development, performance and illness.
  • You advice and support employees
  • You advice and act on organisational (departmental) development.
  • Initiative administrative changes and drive the input for monthly payroll mutations.
  • In line with the business strategy and objectives, design, implement and evaluate the training and development procedures with special focus on employability and competences.
  • Responsible to initiate and monitor and support employee development, management development and organizational learning in the various departments through the determined cycle of employee development.
  • Depending on the need we run 2-3 projects per year. Topics are related to people development, employer branding, learning etc.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in human resource management, business administration or related education.
  • 4-7 years of working experience in a People & Culture/Human Resources function.
  • Familiar with the HR implications of working in an international organization.
  • Expert in labor law, latest HR trends and all other People & Culture Topics.
  • Business minded, analytic and have vision on requirements for lasting organizational performance.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Organizing and coordination skills.
  • Influencing and leading changes.

Our offer

We offer a monthly salary of maximum 5500 euro, based on experience on a fulltime base, pension and benefits like, 40 days off per year, which partially can be sold, a bonus scheme up to maximum 8% of your annual salary, 25-euro sports contribution per month and Sonion provides you with opportunities to develop further. We support hybrid, part-time and flexible working arrangements. We have Thursday drinks close to our office location, daily free fruits and summer and winter parties.
