Role Overview
Maximize the chances for a successful design in into new customer platforms, and identify
opportunities to replace competition in existing products.

Key Responsibilities
You work in project teams on the development of products. You identify and map concrete design opportunities at Customers. You are working with industry leading experts and closely together with customers you maintain close relationships with key engineering positions. You take the lead in coordinating all activities around the ‘design-in process’ in close alignment with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Be the first point of contact regarding all technical questions of international customers
- Maintain close relations with key engineering positions at international customers,
through ongoing regular contact, visiting customers and hosting customers visiting
Sonion. - Support project managers and international R&D teams members to secure
communication and technical specifications. - Identify and maintain an overview of customers Development Roadmap.
- Identify opportunities for Sonion products to get designed in on new Hearing Aid
Platforms. - Determine the best product offering to maximize our chance of a successful design in
win. - Reporting and sharing market intelligence.
- Initiate and communicate opportunities to the product management and R&D teams
- Development partnerships with customers.
Your Profile
You have a strong level of technical knowledge of the hearing health industry, and you also have a strong commercial drive. Your hands-on and result driven mentality shows initiative and taking the lead. Other qualities we ask for are:
- 3-5 years of working experience in a development engineering environment including
customer interaction. - At least a bachelor’s degree in physics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- Self-driven / independent.
- Fluent in English.
- Cultural awareness
- Presentation skills
- Negotiation skills
- Creative
- Solution oriented
