Sonion has joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), committing us to set targets in line with what climate science deems necessary to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
In October 2024, SBTi formally approved our targets to reduce our absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42% and scope 3 GHG emissions by 25% by 2030 from a 2022 base year. In our annual ESG reports, we will report on the progress that we are making in meeting our reduction targets.
