International alliance makes smart audio features available as after market upgrade for retail

Las Vegas, January 7, 2020

PYOUR Audio, the smart audio platform by Absolute Audio Labs (AAL), is now making a wealth of smart audio features directly available via participating retail channels. This includes PYOUR Audio’s partners’ applications and application support, inlcuding Sonion’s Voice Pick Up Bone Sensor, as well as Sonarworks’ TruFi, Aumeo’s Hearing Enhancement & Personalization and HearAngel’s Safe Listening. In addition to these companies, Acousticlink, the world’s largest original design manufacturer of multimedia audio products is also joining the alliance. Acousticlink will start offering PYOUR Audio capability to their large customer base of leading audio brands and retail channels.

With PYOUR Audio, retail channels can set up their own private label smart audio program offering additional features to their customers. Examples include improved music experience, better calling, additional voice support, personalized audio, safe listening and many others. Next to providing a much better customer experience, retail partners can use the PYOUR Audio platform to increase their collaboration with their key brands as well as their private label products.

PYOUR Audio is currently available for audio products that are using the Qualcomm® Audio system-on-chips (SoCs) of the QCC51XX series. Absolute Audio Labs, Sonion, AUMEO and HearingAngel are all members of the Qualcomm® Extension Program.

On January 7, 2020, the Alliance partners signed an Agreement with regards to their collaboration at the Holland Tech Pavillion at the 2020 edition of CES in Las Vegas. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of State Secretary Mona Keijzer of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the Dutch Ambassador to the USA André Haspels and HRH Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, Special Envoy for the Dutch ScaleUps and StartUps. Sonion was represented by Senior VP Sales & Marketing Advanced Audio+ Amir Sheikh (in the photo).
